We are seeking detail oriented Patient Scheduling Representatives to join our team. The Patient Scheduling Representative plays a critical role in facilitating patient appointments, ensuring accurate scheduling, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established protocols. Utilize scheduling software and electronic medical records systems to manage appointment calendars effectively.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Update patient records as necessary and address any discrepancies or issues with patient information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients scheduling appointments. Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information about appointment availability, clinic locations, and other relevant details.
- : Deliver high-quality customer service to patients by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and patience. Address patient concerns, resolve scheduling conflicts, and escalate issues as needed to ensure patient satisfaction.
- : Coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to schedule appointments that accommodate patient needs and provider availability. Communicate scheduling updates and changes to relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Adhere to patient privacy and confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA guidelines, when handling patient information and medical records. Ensure that patient data is handled securely and protected from unauthorized access
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
